Stan is determined to make Steve act like an adult by getting rid of the childish games and events at his fourteenth birthday party. After Francine undermines him by renting a moonbounce for the party Stan realizes that he never had a childhood himself because his father left him when he was four, thus he had to assume all the man-of-the-house responsibilities. Stan accompanies Steve and his friends in an effort to get in touch with his inner child.
