the episode starts off well and ends kinda sappy but sweet none the less, its cute on stans part that he realises that he loves her no matter what. Every winter stan would hibernate away or so the family thought, that was until francine discovers that stan is not hiding he is infact ice skating, she agrees to skate with him and slowly learns how to skate, but it will never be good enough to win the ice skating champs that stan dreams of, roger decides to intervene and show off by dressing up as a blonde figure skater and signs up with stan after francine has enough of stan bossing her around, although she is mortified that she was harshly replaced by roger over her, his own wife!

The funniest quote was when roger commented on francines ice skating moves "Shes as graceful as a frozen turd"

Stan is yelled at constantly by the perfectionist ice skating alien who wants to win no matter wat the cost and realises that ice skating was never about winning or losing for him but about sharing his passion with the woman he loves, so he drugs francine and she wakes up half way through stans ice skating routine with him on the ice. naturally she is pissed at first but when he starts saying mushy lovey dovey words to her she soon comes around and the two kiss and embrace, blah bla bla.

Roger is pissed that stan dumped him for francine but he has a plan of his own and gets one of the figure skaters injured so he can skate with someone and ends up winning the tournament
